I bought this efile explicitly for home use and to gain more confidence using an Efile because I stopped doing nails for a long time (licensed pro). If you're a beginner and are maybe scared of torque or using too high of a speed, this is a great tool. However, as you gain confidence, you will find this Efile does not keep up and there is not enough torque to compensate for higher speeds. If you utilize European and Russian manicure styles for cuticle care and shaping, you will need to charge this after every single use. It will say it is fully charged but there is not enough power in the battery to utilize what little torque the handpiece has. If you just use this for basic prepping of the nail plate or prepping pedis, you could use this longer. There is slight vibration in the handpiece, which won't be an issue if you're not a heavy Efile user, but, it does become noticeable after a while.
All things considered, it was a great tool for what I needed it for and I am going to keep it as a backup.
